About the Project
"The World is for Everyone" is a social project created in 2019 by Carolina Fróes and Patrícia Abreu with the aim to enable transformative international experiences for youngsters from disadvantaged social backgrounds.
Their vision is to contribute to social inclusion and equal opportunities by facilitating participation in cultural exchange programs abroad.
We want
cultural exchange
experiences to be available for everyone!
Because experiences change lives.
About the project creators
The World is for Everyone was conceived by Carolina Fróes, manager of True Experience Intercâmbio e Viagens in Rio de Janeiro, and Patrícia Abreu, sales representative of friLingue Language & Ski Camps, based in the Swiss Alps.

One day, at the end of 2018, Patrícia visited Carolina's agency to promote friLingue's summer and ski camps. By the end of her visit, as Carolina was telling her about her personal and professional plans, Patrícia realised that they had the same dream: to make cultural exchange experiences more accessible for everyone!
Immediately, they decided to join forces and strive for a common goal. They started looking for partners already on the following day, determined to turn their dream into reality.

For Carolina Fróes, the biggest motivation to take up this challenge was the opportunity to facilitate life changing experiences for youngsters, just like her own experience years ago:
"I have always dreamt of participating in a cultural exchange, but I lacked the financial resources for it. Then, at university, I found out there was a possibility to take part in a paid work position abroad. Gathering all the resources for me to leave, as well as to ensure I meet the programme requirements, I managed to and ended up having an experience which changed my personal and professional life. It empowered me and boosted my self-confidence. Today I am an entrepreneur, manager of True Experience Rio and I'm proud to help others to change their lives."

As for Patrícia did her first exchange after university. She travelled to France to be an Au Pair because, at that time, it was the most financially viable option. "I can't forget

"Nunca esqueço da sensação de estar fazendo o impossível. E poder ajudar outros jovens a fazer o mesmo é uma realização pessoal. Depois fiz outros intercâmbios mais curtos e, a cada viagem, são novas experiências, aventuras e descobertas que trazemos conosco para sempre e para qualquer lugar."

Official launch of the project, attended by the first participants and partners, on 18 March 2019.

" Achieving inclusive and quality education for all reaffirms the belief that education is one of the most powerful and proven vehicles for sustainable development. This goal ensures that all girls and boys complete free primary and secondary schooling by 2030. It also aims to provide equal access to affordable vocational training, to eliminate gender and wealth disparities, and achieve universal access to a quality higher education.
